Piraeus tower designed by Mekano Competition 2010, a team of young Egyptian architects. The main concept to convert the landmark building by the participation of all children in the city in a building where the building design is to move the cube in three dimensions to create an aesthetic formations such as Lion of Piraeus. Movement depends on the support structure of the cube add a block of the main moves in three-dimensional motion to obtain three-dimensional structure formation, adding a belt that can impede the movements in the horizontal and vertical directions.

Dupont Corian translucent properties that are particularly suitable for the entire concept for many reasons:
1/colors: various colors available means that something can be found for every mood or environment.
2/lighting: light in three dimensions can be formed into shapes allows to create a glowing box that displays a variety of endless inspiring surface effects.
3/tranclucency: effects of color from there the material changes dramatically when bakelite when he switched on the light in the box, display box and the appearance of fading is dominated by the aesthetics of the light source and color.
