Pedestrian Path – Field Work by Jill Anholt
Jill Anholt create the installation for the edge of the pedestrian path next to the new Vancouver Convention Centre. Specifically the idea that a single element that works in conjunction with the design concept of Work. Field work consisted of a series of stainless steel frame supporting elements are cantilevered laminated yellow cedar growing in range and angle of exit. The elements to grow in both size and reach along the pedestrian path that connects Vancouver Convention Centre to the sea wall and forms a more protective cage.
