Mexico Pavilion for Shanghai Expo 2010
SLOT Mexican architect has won an international competition to design the Mexican Pavilion for Expo 2010 Shanghai. Pavilion design is born from the idea of representing Mexico through the traditional elements that have not been exploited in this type of exhibition. This pavilion has an array of shapes such as kite-sitting on a sloping white pillars on the sloping ground, which leads visitors to a grand plaza. Forest kite in five bright colors that appear like when lit by lantern light at night. Spray out a hole in the polar cold air. Pavilion is divided into three separate areas. There is a restaurant in the pavilion displays and presents traditional Mexican food.
