Hilton Garden Inn by Jagiełło Architekci Krysiak
Krysiak Jagiełło Architekci sharing project designing Hilton Garden Inn is located in downtown Katowice, Upper Silesia’s main city Industrial District in southern Poland. Localization and shape of the building is a river in the east and the high voltage network in the east and north. The building formed by the determinants of the location and space, such as plot shape, overall dimensions of surrounding buildings, rivers, high voltage network, local and projected transportation system. The roof terrace is designed as a series of technical, which is covered with steel mesh facade. This gives the illusion of a sloping roof, the multi-show highlights the dynamics of the proposed form. Height of the building reaches 40 meters that gave ratings of the dominant spatial and nearest existing dominant in the 450-meter distance. The external height of the brick building was inspired by its surroundings. large exterior openings are the result of a transformation of ideas brick pattern (each second row of the window), which can be observed in a number of houses in St. Gliwicka. At the same time, to give a dynamic appearance, the facade is not constant aperture settings. Window size increases with each subsequent floor level at the building height (the vertical growth), whereas in the lower parts of the office, the window size increased by as much as they placed more in-depth plot (horizontal growth).
